This is the 13th work in the "Natura Forma" series. This large-scale oil painting depicts the natural world through the graceful and delicate representation of the female figure, evoking the nurturing qualities of Mother Earth.

The abstracted background is painted in rich, deep burnt umbers, vibrant reds, soft oranges, and warm yellows, with an overlaying landscape of twisting tree branches adorned in beautiful hues of gold, crisp white, and earthy burnt Sienna.

“NATURA FORMA” SERIES STATEMENT

This series of surreal oil paintings explores the embodiment of nature through human and animal forms. These works make full use of negative space and restricted colour schemes to create intriguing and powerful images. The intention is to create symbolic links with the natural world and it's inhabitants, whether human beings or animals, into a unified visual language. These paintings are metaphorical images exploring the universal connections of life, within the landscape of the natural world. "Natura Forma" is an ongoing series started in the winter of 2022...
