The ninth oil painting in my "Natura Forma" series is a wolf, an animal whose symbolic meanings are associated with a sharp intelligence, instinct, freedom, wisdom, insight, immersive wisdom, community, leadership, determination and adaptability.
“NATURA FORMA” SERIES STATEMENT
This series of surreal oil paintings explores the embodiment of nature through human and animal forms. These works make full use of negative space and restricted colour schemes to create intriguing and powerful images. The intention is to create symbolic links with the natural world and it's inhabitants, whether human beings or animals, into a unified visual language.
