Completed during the late summer months of 2023, "The Storms of Aldebaran" is a journey into a frenetic and mystical landscape, filled with dynamic splashes of colour. A dynamic work that evokes the powerful forces of nature.
“THE WORLD BEYOND” SERIES STATEMENT
These works are from an ongoing series of works titled "The World Beyond" Using the landscape as a metaphor, these works take the viewer on a journey through swirling mists, organic forms and iridescent skies. Using a mixture of brushes and palette knives, these oil paintings capture light and movement, while maintaining a dynamic and dramatic atmosphere. They are meditations created to evoke a connectedness to the ethereal and transitory existence of the human experience within nature, through an otherworldly realm of shifting reality.
