The darkening days in which we live give rise to stories of new understandings, a search for meaning within an increasing dystopia, shaking off the overbearing pressure placed upon us, sometimes slipping down into darkness and fighting a way back toward the light.

Some revel in the dark, the anticipation barely held during a long deepening twilight, falling swiftly into the pitch black inky velvet cloak of night where even darker shadows rise in the witching hour, only to be illuminated by the rising of a bright moon and starlight- the darkness is the Mother of our thoughts- our comfort, our anonymity. It is a time of magic, of infinite possibility where incredible plans are made and thoughts become clear and obsessive only to be snuffed out and forgotten as soon as the daylight seeps in.
